
Chrissie Cartwright
Associate Director and Choreographer for Australia

Chrissie appeared in the original west end casts of Billy, Irene, Evi-ta, Barnum and Blondel and in variety at the London Palladium and Victoria Palace. Television includes The One and Only Phyllis Dixey, There’s Something Wrong in Paradise, The Stanley Baxter Show, The Morecambe and Wise Show and The Good Old Days. She appears in The Great Muppet Caper, Lassiter, Indiana Jones and The Temple of Doom and Mama Mia! Here We Go Again.
Chrissie staged and choreographed the original West End produc-tions of The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Sherlock Holmes The Musical and the London premiere of Mack and Mabel. She chore-ographed The Entertainer, Devil’s Virtuoso, Annie, The Card, On The Twentieth Century, Witches of Eastwick and the musical stag-ing for the Showbizpops Orchestra’s concert tour of The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber. For television she choreographed Kiss Me Kate, Alas Smith and Jones and Hit Dancing.
As associate director and choreographer – the London, New York and Australian productions of Five Guys Named Moe, worldwide productions of Cats and as associate choreographer, the London and Broadway productions of The Phantom Of The Opera. She was associate to Gillian Lynne on The Likes of Us, Brick by Bricusse and Dear World; was children’s director on Mary Poppins and resident director on Cats, Joseph and His Amazing Techni-colour Dreamcoat, Sister Act and Wizard of Oz.
Chrissie directed To Gillie With Love at the Gillian Lynne Theatre and was movement director on The Private Ear and The Public Eye and Birdsong for the Original Theatre Company. She is an Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music where she has staged many productions including This is The Hour – a celebra-tion of the music of Claude-Michel Schönberg. She is currently co-choreographing a new UK tour of Miss Saigon.

Peter McCarthy
Musical Supervisor

Peter has had a long association with the musical Cats, having first conducted the show in the West End, London. Since then he has been Musical Director for UK and international tours, was Associate Musical Supervisor for the recent productions in Vienna and China, and was also Musical Associate on the Universal / Working Title movie version.
He is currently the Associate Musical Supervisor for the new European production which opened in April 2025.
He was Musical Director for the production of Cats that performed in South Korea and Taiwan in 2020 /21 – one of the only musical theatre productions in the world to continue performing throughout the covid pandemic.
Peter was the Musical Director / Supervisor for To Gillie, With Love – a celebration of the life and career of Gillian Lynne and Musical Director for the new Royal Shakespeare Company production of A Christmas Carol.
He was Associate MD for Show Boat (Gillian Lynne Theatre) and MD for Tell Me On A Sunday with Jodie Prenger, and was Musical Director on Les Miserables (UK and International Tour).
In the West End he has conducted The Sound of Music (Palladium), Cats, Mack & Mabel, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, and was Associate MD on South Pacific (Barbican), Road Show (Menier Chocolate Factory) and Love Story (Duchess).
He was assistant MD on NT50 (National Theatre), 42nd Street and Oklahoma (Chichester) and The Sound of Music and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Regent’s Park). He was Musical Director and Arranger for Bells are Ringing (Union Theatre, London).
Peter has appeared on ITV’s Pop Star to Opera Star and was the conductor for Channel 4’s Our Gay Wedding The Musical.
He composed original music for Waxing Lyrical by Judith Paris and directed by Gillian Lynne.
Peter is a graduate of The Royal Academy of Music, London.

Greg Pink
Sound Designer

Greg started work over 40 years ago in British repertory theatre and has since worked on many productions worldwide, both as a sound designer and engineer. Specialising mainly in large scale musical theatre and arena productions he has toured shows all over the world.
Greg’s sound design credits include LEGALLY BLONDE, SISTER ACT, CATS, SWEENEY TODD, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, GYPSY, LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, 42ND STREET, CHESS, BARNUM, SONG AND DANCE, A CHORUS LINE, SOUTH PACIFIC, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, SINGIN’ IN THE RAIN, JEKYLL and OKLAHOMA.
The UK premieres of CARMEN JONES and TIGER BAY, the UK stage adaptation of the film SOME LIKE IT HOT and the LIVERPOOL ORATORIO for Paul McCartney.
Greg’s associate design credits include SHUCKED, BEAUTY & THE BEAST, PRETTY WOMAN, KINKY BOOTS, LION KING, MAMMA MIA, GUYS AND DOLLS, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, DOCTOR DOLITTLE, SUNSET BOULEVARD,ASPECTS OF LOVE, MARTIN GUERRE, CAN CAN, and LA CAGE AUX FOLLES.

Tommie Luyben
Assistant to Associate Director and Choreographer

Tommie was born and raised in The Netherlands. Here he trained at the Fontys Dance Academy in Tilburg and the Amsterdam School of the Arts, as well as Purchase College State University of New York and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London.

He performed in modern dance company LaMelis and in the musicals Scrooge, Oliver!, Doe Maar!, Fame, Wicked, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, We Will Rock You, West Side Story, Grease, Mamma Mia!, Disney’s Aladdin, Rebecca, Pretty Woman, Elisabeth and worked on productions of Cats in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and South Korea.
TELEVISION
His acting credits for television include De BZT Show, Moeder Ik Wil Bij De Revue, ’t Spaanse Schaep, Annie MG and Yentl & De Boer De Serie, for which he was responsible for the choreography as well.

Amy Berrisford
Resident Director and Choreographer

Most recently Amy was seen as Dance Captain/swing in Sunset Boulevard. She was a part of Moulin rouge! The Musical (covering Nini) We Will Rock You, Guys and Dolls, played Rosie in Sweet Charity, toured Australasia in Chicago, (swing) and later went on to co dance captain the show, play June and cover the role of Velma. Her other theatre credits include Promises, Promises, World Premiere cast of King Kong Live on Stage,Kathy in Company. Funny Girl and Curtains. She played Demeter in the 2014/15 South Korea, Singapore and Macau national tours of Cats, returning to South Korea to play Bombalurina and was later thrilled to revive the role of Demeter for the Aus/NZ tour, for which she received a 2016 Green Room nomination. In 2017/18 she returned to Cats as Resident Choreographer. That same year she appeared in Oklahoma and The Boy From Oz. Her TV/Film credits include; Assistant Choreographer on the Australian film Boytown. Channel 7’s TV Turns 50 performing alongside Dancing With The Star’s judges and Foxtel’s The Singing Office (Lead Singer). Amy is delighted to be joining this production of Cats to “…let the memories live again…” and would like to thank her fiance and family for their ongoing love and support.

Paul White
Musical Director

Paul studied classical piano at The University of Adelaide with Dr Graham Williams, graduating B.Mus with Honours (Performance) followed by Dip. Jazz Performance. Conducting study began in New York with Broadway legend Gordon Harrell, then continued in Melbourne with the distinguished Romanian conductor, Robert Rosen. This juxtaposition of classical and commercially oriented study enabled Paul to build his career in a variety of musical and theatrical genres.
He has been involved with many of the landmark music theatre productions of the last 35 years, notably playing and conducting 42ND STREET starring Nancye Hayes, Toni Lamond and Todd McKenney (Helen Montague), WEST SIDE STORY starring Marina Prior, Caroline O’Connor and Todd McKenney (Victoria State Opera), LES MISERABLES (original Australia/New Zealand tour and Asia/Africa tour – Cameron Mackintosh), MY FAIR LADY starring Anthony Warlow (Victoria State Opera), WE WILL ROCK YOU in Tokyo (Louise Withers), MATILDA Australasian tour (Louise Withers, RSC), and The Australian Ballet’s magnificent production of AN AMERICAN IN PARIS starring Leanne Cope and Robbie Fairchild (GWB/TAB).
He was Musical Director of A CHORUS LINE directed by Baayork Lee (TML Enterprises), OLIVER! starring John Waters (Cameron Mackintosh, IMG), ANNIE starring Anthony Warlow (Macks Entertainment, GFO), CHICAGO starring Caroline O’Connor (IMG), GREASE starring Guy Pearce (GFO), and GREASE – THE ARENA SPECTACULAR with an all-star cast including Anthony Warlow, Craig McLachlan, Michael Cormick, Jane Scali, Doug Parkinson, Glen Shorrock and Danii Minogue (SEL, GFO).
Other highlights include, repetiteur for an extraordinary production of MISS SAIGON in Manila, starring Lea Salonga (Cameron Mackintosh), a lovely association with The Production Company, working on THE BOY FROM OZ, LAZARUS and THOROUGHLY MODERN MILLIE, and several University productions at WAAPA, the Hong Kong APA, and the VCA.
He has also worked as Pianist/MD with such celebrated artists as Ricky May, Michael Crawford, Danny La Rue, Caroline O’Connor, Toni Lamond, Todd McKenney, Michael Cormick, Rob Guest, Julie Anthony and Simon Gallaher.
For many years Paul had a close association with the Really Useful Company Asia Pacific on their productions throughout the world, and was Musical Director for several productions of CATS, including tours with Lea Salonga and Delta Goodrem, and THE MUSIC OF ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER concert tours. He is understandably thrilled to be asked back for the 40th Anniversary tour of his beloved Cats!

L’Argent Wilson
Technical Director

L’Argent has technical experience across musical theatre, live music, film, television and major events. He trained at the Western Australian Performing Arts Academy graduating with an Advance Diploma in Lighting Design. L’Argent’s recent theatre credits include Annie (Technical Director), Jesus Christ Superstar (Production Manager), Chicago (Production Manager), The Rocky Horror Show (Production Manager), 9 to 5 (Production Manager), Hamilton (Head of Automation), Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (Head of Lighting and Video), Priscilla, Queen of the Desert (Head of Lighting), Handa Opera on Sydney Harbour (Head of Lighting), Wicked (Head Electrician), and Cats (Lighting Technician). Before moving into musical theatre, he toured extensively with main stage acts such as Coldplay, Robbie Williams, Rihanna, Powderfinger, Silverchair and Hugh Jackman to name a few. Other experience includes working on television productions such as “Australia’s Got Talent,” “Big Brother” and “The X Factor” as well as major festivals and events such as the Commonwealth Games, Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Big Day Out, Sound Waves and Australia Day celebrations.

Michael Waters

Matthew Tunchon
Associate Lighting Designer

Matthew’s design work spans across musicals, theatre, events, concerts, and fashion shows. His theatrical lighting design credits include Pride & Prejudice, Big Fish, Songs for a New World, Candyman, Spiegelesque, Blonde Poison, Lip Service, The Sunset Limited, The Sneeze, The Herbal Bed, and Checklist for an Armed Robber.
Matthew also served as the Associate Lighting Designer on The Rocky Horror Show, Mamma Mia! & Chicago. He was the Assistant Lighting Designer on Jesus Christ Superstar, Hairspray, 9 to 5, An American in Paris, Buddy, Wicked, Billy Elliot, and South Pacific.
Other notable highlights include Expo 2023 – Doha Cultural Opening ceremony, The Music of Hans Zimmer, The Edinburgh Military Tattoo and Sydney New Year’s Eve Celebration from 2008 to 2022. Matthew is a graduate of the National Institute of Dramatic Art.

Kellie Ritchie
Australian Associate Wigs and Makeup Supervisor

Kellie has been working in the entertainment industry for over twenty years with a heavy focus on theatrical makeup and wigs. Her credits include Head of Wigs and Make Up on Beauty and the Beast, Frozen the Musical, Ghost and Wicked. Her other credits include Hamilton, Six the Musical, Aladdin, Les Miserables, Jersey Boys, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and Lion King. Her career has included numerous national and international tours in a Head of Department role. Her most recent credits include Wham Consultant on Wicked and HOD of WHAM on MJ the musical. Kellie is very passionate about Theatrical makeup and is excited to bring this to the 40th Anniversary Tour of CATS.
